Each year the PTO gives teachers an opportunity to apply for mini-grants to fund a specific purpose that benefits the students in their classroom. Teachers submit a grant proposal which contains a description of the need, data and curriculum objectives, project goals, outcomes, timelines, and budgets. The anonymous proposals are read by a committee of PTO members and a corporate sponsor guest reader. The applications are evaluated based on a preset rubric that applicants are provided with their proposal application.

We are pleased to award the following mini-grants totaling $3,000 for the 2021-22 school year!

Mrs. Amy Bennett and Dr. Beth Hawkins

Mrs. Bennett and Dr. Hawkins applied for a joint grant to purchase atom kits for their chemistry classes. These kits contain atoms that snap together for visualization of molecular structures.
